We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Battery Engineer with a strong focus on value optimization and project management for electrical and electronic components in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the development and delivery of cost-efficient, high-performance battery systems, while managing project timelines and aligning with the company’s quality and sustainability objectives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead value optimization initiatives for battery systems and related electrical and electronic components, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and procurement teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and material optimization.
  • Manage battery system projects from concept to production, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Conduct market and competitor benchmarking to identify innovative solutions and maintain competitiveness.
  • Oversee supplier interactions, including technical reviews, cost negotiations, and performance assessments.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and timely delivery of milestones.
  • Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvement, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges and bottlenecks.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including reporting project status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support product launches and ensure seamless integration of battery systems into vehicle platforms.

 

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in battery system engineering or a related role in the automotive industry.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic components used in battery systems.
    • Experience in value engineering, cost analysis, and optimization.
    • Proven project management skills, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
    • Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar software for battery and component design.
    • Familiarity with automotive standards and regulations related to battery systems and electronics.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-driven attitude.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    • Fluency in English is required.
