  • Perform the RCSA process to assess control effectiveness and manage CTO Risk events within the Group Risk Management Framework.

Job Description

To provide dedicated capacity to focus on enhancing and managing the IT Risks within the CTO function and the controls that underpin them.

 

 

 

The role will perform activities, such as:

Support the first line Risk and Control function within Technology to provide oversight, support and challenge on all aspects of risk management across the department

Support the IT Technology Monthly Risk Meeting, including agenda management and action tracking 

Drive standards to enhance control effectiveness, control operation & control evidence with control owners

Manage the Risk and Controls with the Bank’s GRC tool (MetricStream).for the CTO function

Perform the twice annual RCSA process to assess the control effectiveness and operation of IT controls

Manage all CTO Risk events and issues within the Banks Group Risk Management Framework

Qualifications

Familiarity with key risk activities including policy reviews, risk self-assessments and risk event management.

 

Experience of representing Technology risk at key governance committees with senior stakeholders

 

Experience of representing risk considerations in project deliveries to ensure identification and implementation of controls.

 

The IT Risk and Controls Analyst should have knowledge of Technology controls across the IT estate, specifically; Core IT, Information Security, change Delivery Cloud and Data and experience of operating in a first line risk capacity supporting all aspects of risk management.

  

The right candidate should be able to work with stakeholders on risk impact. Propose realistic and pragmatic mitigation which addresses these problems, and work with the product/project teams to implement these effectively into their work.
