Position Overview: 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate / Mid-Level PHP Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Laravel, a solid understanding of nginx and Debian-based environments, and strong proficiency in MySQL database structures. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications that are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

Key Responsibilities & Job Functions: 

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Configure and manage nginx web servers for optimal performance and security.
• Work within Debian-based environments for deployment and server management.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases, including writing complex queries and ensuring data integrity.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, project managers, product owners, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Submit time sheets timely to quantify development activities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Proficiency with the Laravel framework.
• Experience configuring and managing nginx web servers.
• Familiarity with Debian or other Linux-based operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
