Job description

The Director of Product Management is responsible for running a top-notch enterprise software product. The position will be responsible for injecting extensive domain experience as well as customer and market knowledge into the product software development process. You will define and execute on a product roadmap and be a significant contributor to Go-to-market activities.

More specifically, the position will establish and manage the strategy, analysis, prioritization, execution, and release of software product investments, working within our philanthropic solutions software platform. This person must be self-motivated, results-oriented, data driven, and extremely well organized with strong business, market, and technical acumen. In addition, this position will manage and mentor a team of product managers, business analysts, and UX designers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Drive the what, why, and when to maximize product investments.
Represent the overall market needs back to the company in order to drive revenue, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction.
Work with customers, prospects, analysts, internal, and other stakeholders to understand market needs.
Operationalize quantitative analysis to supplement qualitative analysis, feeding into prioritization and roadmap processes.
Compile strong business cases for significant investment areas.
Provide market requirements, user journeys, personas, use cases, stories, and other artifacts to architecture and engineering to help deliver against market needs.
Collaborate and influence heavily across engineering as well as the cross functional business to ensure optimal decision making.
Provide a strong combination of functional leadership, technical leadership, and market expertise across the team.
Research, establish, and execute against an internal and external roadmap, optimizing the market needs alongside product health.
Navigate difficult technical trade-off decisions.
Manage a team of product managers, product owners, and UX designers.
Leverage AI for product management operational efficiency and customer value.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree required.
8+ years of product management experience
5+ years of product management experience in complex enterprise SaaS applications
3+ years of experience in financial services software
3+ years of leadership experience in enterprise software product management
Agile methodologies
Exceptionally strong leadership skills
Strong business acumen
Strong technical acumen
Strong with data driven analysis
Experience using and leveraging AI in day to day operations and bringing to market AI customer features
Experience with scalable customer facing APIs preferred
Experience in analyzing and launching customer facing AI features preferred
Technical/Programming experience is a plus
Experience integrating multiple software applications into a comprehensive market solution is a plus
Reporting and analytics software module experience is a plus
