About the Company

Blackmore Partners is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern with a strong interest in pursuing a career as a corporate counsel. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate legal environment, working closely with seasoned professionals to support Blackmore Partners' legal and business objectives.



About the Role

This role involves assisting with various legal tasks and gaining exposure to corporate legal practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and review of corporate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and compliance materials
  • Conduct legal research on various corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues
  • Participate in the development and implementation of compliance programs
  • Support the legal team in due diligence activities and corporate transactions
  • Attend and take notes in meetings with business units and external counsel, gaining exposure to practical legal and business discussions
  • Help in organizing and maintaining corporate records and legal databases
  • Contribute to projects that enhance the legal department's operations and efficiency
  • Engage in professional development opportunities, including attending in-house training sessions and workshops
  • Appeal to remove the order to pay the GAL
  • Motion to request the discovery documents
  • Motion to request a percentage of the operation
  • Motion to clarify data
  • Motion to request that the opposing party issue the missing documents, due to the objections presented


Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited law school with a strong academic record
  • Demonstrated interest in corporate law, either through coursework or previous internships
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prior experience in a corporate environment is a plus, but not required
