Summary: 

Support Move Coordinator for national corporate accounts move process during the traditional peak season.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up OA, i.e.  request origin agents to perform visual, in-home survey’s through pricing platform and track survey results to ensure they are received within 24 hours of being performed

Process and price survey results through platform using client specific contract rates; seek additional information from the surveyor when information is unclear on inventory / table of measurements sheet

Coordinate with Operations and Move Coordinator to ensure shipments are assigned to a van

Interact with Team Lead and Operations when load date is approaching if unassigned

Check Van Operator quality star ratings and escalate to Team Lead if questionable rating on high profile / sensitive moves

Communicate with driver on special needs / expectations

Confirm that agents are aware when shipment pickups are issued and ensure pickup is on schedule

Monitor van assignments

Obtain load and delivery ETA’s from Van Operators and advise Move Coordinator

Register auto, wine and pet coordination with preferred carrier via email; register new orders in Mover Suite database; tracks and monitor delivery

Obtain actual weight of storage shipment; calculate daily charges for storage, notate amount in memo pad and create workflow task for Move Coordinator; track storage expiration and conversions to long term storage

Billing liaison; set up Third Party services; set up and track debris pick up requests

Back up for Move Coordinator as needed

Ability to demonstrate initiative and to work with minimum supervision

This position will pay $15-$20/hr.

Education/Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training in relocation industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
