Job description

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Business Delivery Services:
Provide business systems support and provide expertise in the business support areas
Provide analysis expertise in developing and deploying business systems enhancements as requested by the user community
Assist in the coordination of the production support activities for our financial applications
Support QA efforts including unit test and production deployment
Help apply best practices of Agile methodology within the development team as required
Participate in application support cycle as part of a Tier 2 support team
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external counterparts
Other related activities and deliverables, as required

Experience:

A minimum of 15 (fifteen) years as a Business Analyst in various organizations
A minimum of 5 (five) years of demonstrated experience working with data management applications
A minimum of 5 (five) years of demonstrated experience in production support activities with end users
Demonstrated experience with backlog grooming and prioritization
Demonstrated relevant work experience in application development and systems integration as a
business analyst
Demonstrated experience working with an external vendor providing a COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) tool
Demonstrated knowledge of structured analysis techniques and development tools as applied to business processes, automated systems and workflow analysis
Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and recommend appropriate solutions by gathering information across various platforms

Skills:

Demonstrated experience working within a financial market environment
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification in Business Analysis (CCBA) or other relevant professional designations
Demonstrated experience working with S&P Global Market Intelligence Enterprise Data Management (formerly Markit EDM)
French language would be an asset

Education:

University Degree or College Diploma in business administration, finance, computer science or any other field\
