Overview of Position
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the management of the capitalized projects for IT. Responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day activities, deliverables, and associated initiatives for the IT Finance capitalization/amortization functions. This role supervises a Sr. Financial Analyst who prepares the monthly capitalization entries. They will prepare all memos required for new capitalized projects. This role works with Internal Audit on all recurring reviews/controls as well as any ad hoc requests. They will partner with our IT contacts on updates to projects, questions about capitalization and any forecasting/planning adjustments that need to be made. Challenging ad hoc requests are common and business partnering opportunities are plentiful. The Finance Manager will cultivate a continuous improvement culture, promote ongoing learning, and exhibit a high level of engagement in a fast-paced shared services environment. In addition, they will contribute to the Shared Service strategy and execution by applying knowledge and experience and helping develop others by cross-training.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Identify, explain, and provide insights into trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities by using data-driven approaches.
Prepare multi-year forecasts for depreciation and amortization
Connect project spend and projected depreciation to business trends, working with BU CFO teams to understand long term investment decisions
Assist with management reporting packages and presentations on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc basis.
Perform analytical assignments of a complex nature.
Partner with the IT, business finance and enterprise finance teams
Work and manage independently with other IT Finance team members
High level of efficiency and accuracy
Tracking of issues reported and accountability for those issues through resolution
Continuous improvement mentality and partnering for transformational activities related to improving the quality and accuracy of capitalization activities
Provide support for audits and ensure SOX compliance with assigned responsibilities
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to processes and policies and understanding of those requirements
Develop a strong understanding and familiarity with critical systems used by the department
Partner with Finance leadership to provide financial analysis and insights to advance leadership discussion and decision making
Ability to take a consultative approach with stakeholders and influence decision-making
Adhere to strict timelines for recurring deliverables such as month-end close activities
Number of Direct Reports: This person will manage 1 Senior Financial Analyst
What are the requirements needed for this position?
BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of related finance or accounting experience, IT Finance preferred
Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience
Ability to manipulate and analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, using an advanced level of Excel, PowerPoint, Power Query and Power BI
Knowledge of finance, accounting (including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), budgeting and variance analysis
Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams, at multiple levels and settings in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range:
$86,000.00 - $143,700.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
