Schedule:

  • Part-time Monday to Friday 9 AM to 1 PM

Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client’s finance team in a part-time remote capacity. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a UK-based organization while maintaining a flexible schedule. You’ll be responsible for managing critical financial reconciliations and supporting the broader accounting function. This position provides the perfect blend of autonomy and collaborative work, as you’ll be directly supporting the finance team while managing your own responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Execute and maintain accurate account reconciliations for multiple accounts
  • Process daily bookkeeping entries and maintain detailed financial records
  • Perform systematic review and updating of historical reconciliations
  • Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping
  • Maintain organized documentation of all financial transactions and reconciliations
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies in financial records
  • Provide regular updates on reconciliation progress and financial status
Requirements
  • Up to 3 years of demonstrated bookkeeping experience
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work
  • Professional level of English language communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Experience with bank and account reconciliations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet home office setup
  • Ability to work remotely during UK business hours
  • Experience working with international businesses preferred
