What’s unique about this role?

Leading and managing data integration development team, data analysis. ETL Development and Load monitoring tasks to deliver quality data integration objects for successful EDW program.

 

What will this person do?

  • The Manager, Data Integration, works collaboratively with business stakeholders, data architects, ETL development Developers and other analysts to develop Data integration and ETL platform and deliver data on time to support users of EDW. 
  • Manage and Lead ETL Team and ETL Development to meet the requirements of stakeholders. 
  • Maintain data lineage documents, process flow and data flow designs with the help of architect and analysts. 
  •  Lead and Manage Requirement review sessions with Enterprise data warehouse team.
  • Design & Develop ETL and data strategy and Support and Review BI Architecture
  • Perform troubleshoot on all ETL processes & Reports and resolve issues effectively.
  • Maintain & develop various database scripts and tools to facilitate automation process &Provide support to all data warehouse initiatives.
  • Manager and govern the team to implement meta data standards for the data warehouse.
  • Monitor processes and develop plans to provide the data on time.
  • Develop and implement various work plans for projects and Review test plans and executions.
  • Evaluate all proposals requests and assist to improve the structure of the Data warehouse.

  • BS in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience 
  • Experience 10 plus years’ experience in Data warehousing and business intelligence projects
  • 15 Plus years’ experience in SQL and knowledge in databases   
  • Five (5) years of experience in developing test plans and providing quality assurance in a large heterogeneous organization with at least 3 years of that experience in support of an enterprise data warehouse environment.
  • Experience in developing technical requirement documents, interviewing business users and stakeholders.
  • Experience in handling offshore team model and conducting UAT Phase with Users
  • Experience in working with ETL Team and Reporting Team during design and development.
  • This is a "hands-on" manager position requiring solid technical skills in data warehousing implementation, as well as data knowledge, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced Proficiency in full cycle of Data Warehouse and BI implementation
  • Expert Knowledge in Data Profiling, data modeling, data governance 
  • Expert Knowledge in ETL tools like informatica talend, etc.
  • Expert Knowledge in BI Tools like MicroStrategy, Power BI etc.
  • Advanced Proficiency in data analysis, ETL Design, Data validation

 

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
