You’ll be working on the project alongside our internal team for a global leader in e-commerce, contributing to exciting mobile projects for a major player in the online shopping industry.

What you will do:

• Develop high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with other teams (including iOS, AI/ML and Design teams) on cross-domain functionality and integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality development and share knowledge with the team.
• Support debugging, testing, and optimization efforts to deliver a smooth user experience.

What we expect from you beyond the code:

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and work autonomously, delivering high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
• A proactive and self-driven approach, coupled with excellent organizational skills, to independently manage and deliver on project goals. 
• A collaborative mindset that extends to client interactions, enabling you to effectively communicate technical solutions and gather business requirements.
• Interest in the business impact of mobile applications and a passion for leveraging AI to create innovative user experiences.

Experience and skills you need to join us:

• Fluency in English and Polish (you will attend meetings with English speaking clients).
• 3+ years of experience in Android development, with a portfolio of released apps or contributions to large projects
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and experience with Android SDK.
• Understanding of Gradle and Android’s build system
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Strong knowledge with Jetpack Compose and MVVM architecture
• Proficiency in writing Unit Tests and familiarity.
• Experience with push notifications and mobile analytics
• Understanding of Android app performance optimization and scalability considerations
• Experience working with multi-module projects
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Familiarity with popular third-party libraries and tools (e.g. Android Studio, Coroutines, Hilt, Retrofit, Jetpack libraries).

It would be great if you also have:

• Interest in or willingness to build skills in AI-driven mobile application development.
• Familiarity with GraphQL-based and REST-based APIs
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of Android’s design principles and best practices for creating intuitive and visually consistent user interfaces
