If you are looking for a meaningful career where people work and act with passion, rethink the existing and always strive to find the best solution - you have come to the right place. We develop future technologies to relentlessly make supply chains better.
We are a leader in supply chain software solutions, helping organizations streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
The Technical Lead will lead, manage, and inspire our software development team through development, architecture and testing of our logistics products. As a hands-on leader, you will help the team fulfil technical, operational, and business requirements. You will guide the team through various functional disciplines including architecture, testing and the delivery of software solutions. The ideal candidate will be able to solve complex technical challenges while delivering great software solutions focused on incredible customer experiences.
The Technical Lead will take ownership of a global and distributed product development team, including people management responsibilities. This will include development and performance management of our Software Engineers. Although this is a leadership role, the nature of our team may require the Technical Lead to get involved in some coding.
This role focuses on being part of the Voice Product Team, working together to learn faster.
What a day in the life looks like:
Champion software engineering best practices and operational excellence by establishing clear metrics, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide strong technical leadership and guidance to the software engineering team, promoting accountability and a positive work environment.
Collaborate effectively with hardware, solution teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and resource allocation across projects.
Lead the development team’s day-to-day operations, including task management, progress reporting, and ensuring timely delivery of software products.
Drive performance management by setting individual and team goals, monitoring progress, and ensuring high-quality, maintainable code following best practices.
Contribute to project planning, resource estimation, and hiring efforts, while maintaining a balance between strategic direction and hands-on involvement.
What you bring to the team:
Over 6 years of experience in software engineering and 1–3 years of leading teams, with proficiency in functional and object-oriented programming, C#, .NET Core, Web APIs, and SQL (preferably PostgreSQL).
Expertise in deploying workloads to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI) and using modern CI/CD tools, with familiarity in microservices architecture and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
Strong communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for writing high-quality, maintainable code (S.O.L.I.D. principles).
Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and an inspirational leadership style that motivates and mentors team members effectively.
Proven experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a focus on Agile delivery methods (e.g. Scrum), and a full driving licence is a plus.
A keen interest in innovation, emerging technologies, and delivering software solutions in fast-paced environments, ideally with experience in logistics or Android development.
