Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct failure analysis on PCBA and finished goods using various testing equipment.
  • Support and improve technician performance from an electronic circuit perspective.
  • Lead new projects related to rework processes and tools.
  • Regularly check and maintain ESD-related equipment and ensure 5S status in the work area.

About the Role

This position is responsible for Failure Analysis of all electronics products include semi-manufactures (PCBA). This includes ICT failure analysis, Function tester failure analysis, screening tester failure analysis, EOL failure analysis etc. And related instruments setup and maintenance, document related analysis history, experience. Positive attitude and team player are needed.

What You Will Do

  • PCBA & Finish good Failure analysis.
  • Operate x-ray / BGA fixture / ICT / FCT and Test equipment for failure analysis.
  • Support and improve Technician from electronic circuit side.
  • Lead a new project from rework side (product theory/rework tool/flash method. etc.)
  • Summary rework data from rework system by project to sort so that PE/TE optimization fixture
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by his supervisor to support the operation
  • Regularly check own responsible area 5S status
  • Regularly check ESD related content in own responsible Area: ESD mat, ESD wrist strip alarm system, ionic fan, soldering iron and screwdriver etc.
  • Feedback good advice to engineer from production operation to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Keep active attitude for study to Self-learning ability
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by his supervisor to support the operation.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing / Industry / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.  
  • Experience: Six years or more experience in EMS Electronic manufacturing as rework Engineer. Be a strong communicator and excellent team builder.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Electronic circuit analysis knowledge
  • LabVIEW C# and VB programming experience
  • Experience for different protocol such as (CAN, LIN, MOST…)
  • Experience for leading a new project in rework side
  • Electrical circuit analysis skill and ability to read schematic
