Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team in the vertical utilities sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales or pre-sales, Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects, and a deep understanding of the utilities industry. This role involves identifying sales opportunities, developing strategic sales plans, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

You will aim to effectively target and serve clients in the utilities vertical, leading to successful sales and long-term relationships. You will report to the General Manager of Telco and Utilities.

What you will be doing:

  • Market Research and Analysis: Understand needs, trends, and key players in the utilities sector.

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through various channels and develop a list of qualified leads.

  • Building Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and regularly engage with clients.

  • Solution Selling: Tailor pitches to address utility companies' challenges and demonstrate value.

  • Proposal Development: Prepare customized proposals that align with client needs.

  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and close deals by addressing final concerns.

  • Customer Support and Follow-Up: Provide ongoing support post-sale and explore upselling opportunities.

  • Staying Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry developments and improve knowledge.

  • Sales Operations and Finance Interaction: Collaborate on revenue forecasting, budgeting, reporting, invoicing, and collection.

  • Product Strategy and Delivery Interaction: Engage with product strategy and delivery teams.

Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent standard

  • Sales or Pre-sales experience gained with customer-facing activities towards the utility industry or similar

  • Existing portfolio of contacts towards credit and fraud executives will be positively considered

  • 7+ years of experience selling similar technologies and/or services

  • With a customer understanding attitude

  • English and Italian, fluent.
