Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Job Description

The Technology Communications and Change Designer for Versant is responsible for the design and production of visual design specifications for training materials, marketing materials, IT support websites, and presentations for workplace solutions used globally by Versant employees and partners. These solutions span a portfolio of employee experiences including devices, applications, workplace, and end-user support.

Solutions:

  • Enterprise platform for one-to-many communications (such as leadership town halls)
  • Corporate intranet platform
  • Unified device management for corporate and personally owned devices
  • Cloud-based desktop virtualization service
  • Soft phone telephony service
  • Self-service app store
  • Office 365 and Slack collaboration
  • Low-code content management, business process automation, and data analytics built on the Power Platform
  • Standard audio-visual conferencing and room booking
  • Facilities security services and desk booking

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research, define user personas, and create current- and future- state journey maps
  • Collaborate in the development of training materials to support current and planned workplace technologies
  • Create marketing materials for IT initiatives including posters, presentations
  • Assist in the development of readiness assessments, surveys, and user research to better understand Enterprise workplace technology requirements
  • Assist in the development of change management plans and associated collateral to support new technology implementations, leveraging the ADKAR model
  • Assist in the development of wireframes and storyboards for mobile and web-based applications

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (in an art or design related field preferred)
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in Change Design
  • Expert knowledge of visual, typographic, grid system, and data visualization design principles
  • Expertise in illustration and motion graphics
  • Excellent sense of color, scale, harmony, balance, and use of negative space.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite visual design software
  • Experience in the full suite of Microsoft Office programs including advanced experience in PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into simplified universally understood concepts to accelerate the adoption of workplace technologies
  • Ability to expedite the creative process by understanding the stakeholder needs and soliciting quick feedback in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to articulate and justify design decisions to people without a design background
  • Ability to efficiently manage assigned tasks amidst changing priorities
  • Online portfolio that demonstrates your problem-solving abilities which could include mobile and web applications, infographics, print pieces and presentations

Desired Characteristics:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to sponsors, stakeholders, engineers, and end-users
  • Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships in support of delivering enterprise-wide solutions
  • Ability to manage and execute within a fast-paced agile process

  • Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.

Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000
