Job description

The Compliance Analyst will be monitoring state insurance regulation changes, and communicating with business partners to recommend and implement procedural changes across the organization to ensure business operations comply with changing requirements. React to Department of Insurance directives concerning changes to rules and regulations to determine impact on Company products. The Compliance Analyst will coordinate with the Compliance Department members to ensure Company’s compliance with state insurance regulations.  The Compliance Analyst will assist with reviews of Company procedures and implement changes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Researches insurance regulations; provides written analysis to compliance team.
  • Notifies Company personnel of regulatory changes, including written instructions for implementing the changes.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into complaints.
  • Responds to consumer complaints.
  • Responds to regulatory inquiries regarding market conduct.
  • Coordinates with various internal departments to handle complaints efficiently.
  • Reviews and updates the relevant Company forms and legal databases and policy construction guidelines.
  • Revises Company filings to comply with new or revised state laws.
  • Develops and maintains reporting on compliance matters.
  • Maintains various organizational and reference spreadsheets as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Insurance terminology
  • Insurance industry experience preferred
  • Computer knowledge and related software such as Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided.  The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000 per year.  Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
