Job description

The Contracts Operations Analyst will support SailPoint’s Contract Operations’ customer-facing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to assist in the growth and development of a critical back-end company function and to contribute to company year-end goals.

Within 1 month:

You will shadow team members to learn the SailPoint processes of contracting and workflow. You will review internal courses and resources to gain knowledge of how our sales teams work and engage with the Contracts team.

Within 3 months:

You will be familiar with the Contracts team workflow and effectively triage requests through Salesforce and Outlook. You’ll be proficient in framings within Conga and assist in iterations and updates of the CLM implementation. You’ll begin negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements and Amendments for our European and Asia-Pacific teams. You will have built relationships with the Deal Desk, Accounts and global Contracts teams.

Within 1 year:

You will be operating with minimal supervision on negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements, low-complex and low-dollar customer agreements, and Amendments for our European and Asia-Pacific teams as well as supporting the Americas team.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Coordinating/allocating responses to internal and external partner requests for assistance with customer and partner agreements and other contract-related requests
  • Managing the lifecycle of a variety of SailPoint templates such as: NDAs, Framework Customer Agreements, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Agreements, Schedules/Quotations to Customers, statements of work (SOWs), data protection agreements (DPAs), and transactional documents
  • Respond timely to Request for Proposals submissions
  • Assisting with the creation and distribution of Delivery Notices for SailPoint Offerings and Other Services
  • Filing fully executed agreements with attributes identified and linked to customer and partner accounts
  • Maintaining up-to-date account and contract data in Salesforce and contract lifecycle management (CLM) system
  • Undertaking specific project management leadership or support, as needed
  • Reviewing redlines for Professional Services and Non-Disclosure Agreements
  • Draft amendments for existing contracts

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years working in a SaaS company or commercial environment is preferred
  • High aptitude for creative problem solving
  • Strong ability to work and think independently
  • Prior experience with Salesforce, Conga CLM, quote to cash system (QTC) and CPQ processes preferred
  • Experience negotiating to NDAs/Confidentiality Agreements and exposure to software licensing agreements – term and perpetual, SaaS solution subscription agreements, consultancy/professional services agreements, Partner Agreements.
  • Excellent attention to detail – methodical, organized, and process driven
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to deal with all levels of stakeholders and colleagues and to facilitate co-ordination of cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple matters, under pressure and in line with Quarter-End and Year-End timescales
