What You’ll Be Doing:
Overview
• Working on a strategic analytics team using data to identify and deliver business insights to clients
• Serving as a strategic advisor to internal and external stakeholders, communicating Evolent product performance and identifying opportunities to better manage their health plan populations
• Partnering with internal stakeholders to identify key metrics aligned with client strategy and Evolent’s value story
• Creating data visualizations in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI to deliver data-driven insights to non-analytical stakeholders
• Working in Power BI, Excel, SAS, SQL, or similar analytical software to analyze clinical authorization and healthcare claims data
• Using analytical tools to integrate various data sources to solve challenging analytical problems that align with key strategic objectives
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in a consulting or strategic analytics role (Required)
• BS or BA in Public Health, Business, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent years of experience with a quantitative emphasis (Required)
• Experience using Excel and SQL or SAS to build recurring and one-off logic from scratch
• Experience using a variety of data visualizations and PowerPoint to deliver business insights clearly and succinctly (Required)
• Strong analytical abilities, with a track record of identifying insights from quantitative and qualitative data (Required)
Desired Qualifications
• Demonstrates a natural curiosity and relentless drive to uncover actionable insights from analyses with a focus on identifying value created and actionable opportunity
• Familiarity with health care lines of business and health care data including medical, pharmacy and ancillary claims data, membership data, clinical operational data (UM & CM), or other healthcare data-Required.
• Understanding of analytical needs, what is feasible, and what isn’t feasible given data limitations
• Understanding of data systems and the critical thinking skills to account for data design / architecture changes
• Independent thinker with the ability to multitask and manage multiple long-term projects with varying timelines
• Collaborative working style with the ability to work across different organizations and personalities
Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $80,000-95,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.Lakera
