About This Position 

We are seeking a DevOps & Infrastructure Lead to own, scale, and evolve our hybrid infrastructure and DevOps tooling. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in both on-premise systems, cloud platforms, and the migration from on-premise to cloud, as well as someone who thrives at the intersection of automation, reliability, and leadership. 
 
You’ll be responsible for leading and growing the DevOps and infrastructure functions, guiding architecture decisions, enforcing best practices, and enabling developers to deliver quickly and compliantly at scale. 

What You’ll Do: 

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations 

• In partnership with engineering teams, architect and manage highly available, scalable hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud)
• Define and enforce infrastructure-as-code standards using tools such as Terraform
• Manage system security, access control, backups, and disaster recovery plans
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of production systems

DevOps & Platform Automation 

• Lead the design and maintenance of CI/CD via Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Create and support self-service deployment tools for engineering teams
• Oversee containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Drive observability practices (monitoring, logging, alerting) across all environments 

Leadership & Team Enablement 

• Mentor and grow a team
• Lead technical decision-making for platform strategy and DevOps tooling
• Collaborate with product engineering, security, and QA to deliver stable and fast release cycles
• Establish KPIs and SLAs for platform performance, availability, and reliability 

What We’re Looking For: 

Required: 

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or systems engineering roles
• Strong background in Linux systems, networking, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Expertise with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, etc.)
• Solid experience with CI/CD tools and containerization (e.g. Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Go, etc.)
• Hands-on experience managing Azure infrastructure and resources
• Proven ability to monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure spend, with a track record of cost-saving strategies including right-sizing, auto-scaling, reservations, savings plans, etc.
• Strong communication and leadership skills 

Preferred: 

• Experience managing hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments
• Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001)
• Background in SRE principles, observability, and incident management
• Prior experience scaling systems in high-growth environments
