Job description

Job Description:

Intermountain Flight and Ambulance Services serves the entire enterprise through air and ground medical transport across an 8-state region. The Compliance Coordinator will be part of a collaborative and mission-driven team that supports these operations by auditing and advising on compliance matters in response to evolving regulatory requirements across multiple agencies in the medical transport space. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, quality, and regulatory integrity of our services, and offers the opportunity to work across diverse geographic areas and operational environments. The coordinator will engage with clinical, operational, and quality teams, using data-driven tools to monitor compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives.



Position Details:

This is a remote position. Although there may be some flexibility in scheduling, incumbent will typically work Monday-Friday during regular business hours.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Familiarity in use of Office applications.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communications.
  • Problem solving, organization, and stewardship of confidential information.
  • Experience working on projects with a team and filling various roles.
  • Ability to prioritize limited number of assignments with guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in air or ground medical transport compliance, with a strong understanding of operational and regulatory nuances in these environments.
  • Familiarity with CAMTS (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems) standards and accreditation processes.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies such as state EMS offices, FAA, DOT, or CMS.
  • Strong ability to interpret and simplify complex regulatory language into actionable guidance for operational teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in compliance auditing, documentation, and reporting tools.
  • A proactive mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • CACO or CHC certification.

  • Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.
  • Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
  • See and read computer monitors and documents.
  • Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$24.29 - $38.26
