Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic, innovative, and hands-on leader to drive enterprise-wide corporate learning and AI enablement initiatives. This role blends the disciplines of corporate training, organizational development, and AI-driven transformation. Reporting to senior leadership, the Director will design and implement scalable learning strategies that empower employees to adopt, apply, and innovate with AI—while fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and digital fluency. 

The Director, Corporate Training and Organizational Development is pivotal in shaping the future of our workforce by integrating cutting-edge technologies into learning ecosystems, building role-based learning pathways, and aligning talent development with business goals.


Essential Duties

Strategic Training and AI Enablement: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise learning strategy that aligns with business objectives and accelerates AI adoption. 
  • Champion the integration of AI and emerging technologies to create adaptive, personalized, and scalable learning experiences. 
  • Lead internal AI literacy and enablement programs, including certifications, learning cohorts, and real-world application showcases. 

Program Design and Delivery:

  • Design role-based learning journeys using a blend of internal content and external platforms (e.g., Microsoft Learn, LinkedIn Learning, Coursera). 
  • Launch and manage internal certification programs and facilitate learning communities across job families and departments. 
  • Embed learning into business workflows by partnering with Practice Leaders, Communities of Practice, and Delivery Teams. 

Technology and Analytics Integration: 

  • Integrate AI tools into the Learning Management System (LMS) and other platforms to enhance engagement and track learning outcomes. 
  • Leverage predictive analytics and AI-powered dashboards to assess skill gaps, forecast workforce needs, and measure program impact. 
  • Stay ahead of trends in generative AI, machine learning, and immersive technologies to continuously evolve learning methodologies. 

Organizational Development and Change Enablement:

  • Lead organizational development initiatives that support change management, team effectiveness, and employee engagement. 
  • Use data storytelling and advanced analytics to inform leadership development, succession planning, and talent strategies. 

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Collaborate with People & Culture, IT, and OCHIN leaders to align learning initiatives with strategic priorities. 
  • Manage relationships with external learning vendors and content providers to ensure high-quality, relevant offerings. 
  • Promote learning success stories and milestones through internal communications, Town Halls, and All Hands meetings. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business, Education, or a related field is required
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in AI, Data Analytics, or Learning Technologies are highly desirable.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in learning & development, organizational development, or talent enablement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Successful leadership abilities with the focus on bringing people together to execute needs; change management skills and experience highly desired
  • Demonstrated experience managing highly effective teams and comprehensive enterprise learning strategies across multiple business lines is required. 
  • Proven success in building and scaling learning programs in fast-paced, tech-forward environments, experience in Healthcare IT is highly desired. 
  • Experience integrating AI and digital tools into enterprise learning strategies is required.
  • A deep understanding of AI technologies, enterprise learning platforms, and digital transformation is required.
  • Must have strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Must have a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and developing talent at scale.
  • Proven success in internal and external relationship management with all levels of expertise from administrative to executive.
  • Strong vendor management experience and ability to evaluate ROI on training investments.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup culture.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Work Location and Travel Requirements

 OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.

Base Pay Overview

The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint ($194,998), with the midpoint representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors directly relevant to this position, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, responsibility, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
