DexCare is looking for aVice President of Government Relations & Strategic Partnerships. You will be pivotal in advancing our enterprise sales efforts within the government healthcare space. This position will include working with both the government and commercial sector organizations. The position will oversee, develop, and strategize DexCare’s approach to working with the VA and the Federal government. Specifically, the operational delivery of clinical & administrative services will involve contracting strategy, FedRAMP certification, healthcare access, compliance, quality, customer satisfaction, and corporate efficiency for working with the government.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with government healthcare organizations and a proven track record of managing complex sales cycles in highly regulated environments. This role requires navigating government procurement processes, including RFI/RFPs, while engaging key decision-makers across clinical, technical, and operational functions.
What You'll DoDevelop policies and manage resources (internal and external) to achieve organizational goals related to the company's government strategy. Ensure compliance with relevant federal regulations, guidelines, and standards (e.g., FedRAMP). Manage budgets, resources, and personnel within the public sector and clinical operations area. Oversee relationships with company partners, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery of services. Assists in the creation of partner agreements and government contracts. Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical operations, aligned with the organization's mission and vision. Build relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, medical directors, and procurement officials across government healthcare organizations. Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Customer Success) to align sales efforts with company goals and ensure smooth delivery of DexCare solutions. Sales Pipeline Management: Develop a robust pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting to senior management. Stay informed of trends in government healthcare, policy changes, and competitive activities to refine sales strategies accordingly. Provide regular updates on sales performance, forecasts, and potential risks to senior management. What You'll BringMaster's degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, public health). Master’s degree or Doctoral Degree in a clinical specialty of practice preferred. Extensive experience in clinical operations, federal contracting, project design, and SME development with provenleadership and management track record. This individual will have extensive experience working with commercial and public sector organizations such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and large for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare systems. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead presentations and participate in conference-level speaking engagements. Deep understanding of clinical operations, government processes, contract management, regulatory requirements, and healthcare standards. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and enterprise sales processes. Willingness to travel within the region as required. DexCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer
