Amazon One Medical is revolutionizing primary care, and we're seeking a Program Manager to lead our strategic initiatives. Our mission is to transform healthcare through a seamless combination of innovative technology and exceptional patient-centered care. As a Program Manager, you'll be at the forefront of this transformation, driving key initiatives that directly impact our members.

This role will play a key role in supporting One Medical’s Clinical and Central Operations team focusing on the strategy and execution of Mission Control and the Virtual Medical Services team. You will be part of a team working to develop and deploy complex initiatives including new delivery models of care, cost of care initiatives, customer experience improvements and product deliverables. You will be expected to keep a pulse on the organization to help to deliver meaningful communications to stakeholders, keep them informed and ahead of changes. This role will also be in charge of the intake process and managing the portfolio of new work and requests coming into both teams. This role will need to have tight collaboration and communication with all key leaders of the Virtual Medical Services Team and Mission Control as well as supporting groups throughout One Medical and Amazon Health Services. We're looking for a dynamic program manager who can navigate ambiguity, inspire teams, and execute with precision.

As a key player on our Central Operations team, you will have the ability to cultivate relationships and drive operational excellence across departments, with a proven track record of identifying operational gaps, communication gaps and putting forth strategic roadmaps to close those gaps.

Key job responsibilities

Strategic Implementation: Design and implement large-scale strategic initiatives, including project plan, reporting, communications, stakeholder engagement and change management

Partnership Management: Partner with key leaders of VMT, Mission Control, Product, Engineering, IT, Clinical, Learning and Development and Analytics to collaborate on shared priorities that enable team member efficiency. Create and manage project plans, and lead work cross-functionally to meet desired milestones.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across all levels and functions (e.g. Operations, Clinical, Product) to drive project execution

Business Performance Management: Manage project KPIs and SLAs and equip teams with tools to exceed targets in business performance

Structured Problem Solving and Continuous

Improvement: Break down complex problems into manageable actions and lead improvement initiatives supporting scalability and growth

Program Management: Ability to work with key stakeholders who are asking for new work to be handled by either VMS or AOM-customer care. Help with the intake process, prioritization and stakeholder communications.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience delivering cross functional projects
  • 4+ years of program or project management experience with a background in healthcare
  • Ability to work successfully with providers and clinical leaders
  • 4+ years of project or program management function working with with various stakeholders including clinical, product and technology teams
  • Experience leading large-scale strategic initiatives in healthcare

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements
  • Experience in client-facing or partnership roles

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
