What You Will Be Doing

• Crafting, revising, and overseeing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in strict accordance with Arizona state regulations
• Managing accommodations and compliance within a vibrant virtual learning setting
• Conducting dynamic, real-world virtual workshops in areas like entrepreneurship, storytelling, or wellness
• Providing personalized coaching to SPED students in both one-on-one and small group settings to enhance their confidence, executive functioning, and self-direction
• Partnering with our school team to enhance our support and empowerment of exceptional learners

• Working in isolation—you'll be deeply involved with students
• Engaging in unnecessary paperwork, meetings, or micromanagement

Education Coach Key Responsibilities

Oversee the creation, implementation, and compliance of all IEPs while involving students in transformative virtual experiences that build essential life skills.

Basic Requirements

• Must be a resident of Arizona
• Hold a valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification
• At least 3 years of experience in writing and revising IEPs
• Experience in coordinating accommodations and managing SPED compliance
• Experience working with students aged 8–14
• Strong virtual presence and communication skills; confidence on camera is crucial
• Available to start by July 2025
• Comfortable in a dynamic, technology-driven school environment

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
