Role Summary for the Telephony Engineer:

Telephony Engineer is responsible for maintaining Meduit’s telephony infrastructure including

creation of IVRs, extensions, ring groups, etc. They are also responsible for maintaining policies,

procedures, and security of the infrastructure. This role will create, manage and maintain functional

carrier vendor relationships that are pivotal to the success of the organization.

Essential Duties And Accountabilities Experience For The Telephony Engineer

Administer, develop, configure, implement, and maintain the systems that comprise the IP telephony infrastructure and dialers.
Establish and implement standards for IP telephony according to established best practices
Troubleshoot when problems arise, and plan for future capacity requirements
Coordinate and work closely with others on various parts of implementation
Schedule, perform, and monitor system backups, and, when necessary, perform data recoveries
Recommend upgrades according to growth statistics and forecasts
Manage efficiency of telephony environment
Schedule, plan, and perform system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environment

Minimum Qualifications & Experience For The Telephony Engineer

H.S. Diploma/GED
2 years' experience with Telephony systems (PBX, VOIP, IP) and able to complete required training programs and certification as assigned
Ability to work closely together in team environment

Preferred Qualifications & Experience For The Telephony Engineer

1 years' experience troubleshooting and supporting customers issues in a technical environment
Work experience with any of the following systems: Free PBX, TCN platform

The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $75,000 based on experience, skills, and location. We offer full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k along with this being a remote opportunity.
