Job description

Director, Corporate Marketing | ConnectDER | Remote

Are you a creative and strategic renewable energy marketing leader who’s excited by the challenge of building a brand from the ground up? Do you thrive in fast-moving environments where you can blend storytelling with data and analytics to drive growth—and make a tangible impact on the future of clean energy? If so, we want to meet you.

At ConnectDER, we’re accelerating the transition to clean energy by reimagining how homes connect to the grid. Our truly disruptive technology makes it faster and safer to install solar, EV charging, and battery storage, bringing affordable renewable energy within reach for millions more people.

We’re looking for a Director of Corporate Marketing to lead our brand and demand engine during a critical growth phase of our company.

  • This is a primarily remote position with up to 25% travel expected for corporate events, trade shows and team meetings.**

Core Functions/Duties

This is a senior role with full ownership over corporate marketing strategy, brand identity, and execution. You’ll build and scale the function, develop our brand, lead creative storytelling, develop and maintain KPIs, and drive measurable impact through integrated marketing campaigns.

You’ll

  • Own and define our marketing strategy, with goals, budget, and priorities aligned with significant company growth targets
  • Quickly drive development of our brand voice and identity bringing it to life across digital platforms, content, events, and campaigns backed by success analytics
  • Lead the execution of digital campaigns, email marketing, SEO/SEM, social, and lead gen efforts
  • Manage and evolve our online presence from the corporate website to social media and partner channels
  • Create compelling content and collateral to support sales and business development, including case studies, thought leadership, and training materials
  • Run point on PR and co-branded external partners, including agencies, website developers, and event managers
  • Measure what matters with marketing analytics and reporting to the VP, Sales & Marketing and executive leadership team
  • Grow the team as needed, coaching and supporting two direct reports (Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing & Events Coordinator)
  • Coordinate and represent ConnectDER at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership opportunities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
