Travel Counselor
4 Months Contract
100% Remote


Duration: 30-Jun-2025 - 31-Oct-2025

This position is 100% remote. Candidates can be anywhere in Canada but must work EST working hours. Successful candidates will have flexible schedule able to work during hours of 8-8pm EST. Hours will be discussed during the interview process. Please list their available working hours. If the candidates have a hard stop, not being able to work until 8pm, they will not be selected for an interview. for training purposes, the first 3-4 weeks the workers will work around 9-5pm EST. Please also ensure the candidates have the capability of setting up a desktop computer and connect with a hardwire for internet. WIFI only is not acceptable for the IT requirements. There will be a two part interview process via zoom

As a Travel Consultant, you’ll join our highly skilled remote team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients. What You’ll Do:

* Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)
* Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and pro-actively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services
* Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations
* Use various Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), including Sabre, Apollo, Galileo and Amadeus. Training may be provided
* Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements
* Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests
* Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For
* Bilingual in French and English. Reading/writing/speaking - Must
* 3 - 5 years of corporate travel experience.
* Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs
* Native GDS expertise Sabre - Must
* Professional communication (written and verbal)
* Attention to detail
* Act with integrity, and look after personal traveler information
* Possess a strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation)
* Resolving customer issues quickly and independently / with supplier
* Teamwork and openness to feedback
