Position Summary

The Senior Program Manager of Division of Graduate Education; Nursing will be pivotal in strategic process management within the nursing department, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and objectives for nursing education. This influential position will provide direction, oversight and support to the chair of graduate nursing, and future directors of academic programs, to ensure the smooth operations of MSOM academic programs through the Office of Dean, which includes the Department of Graduate Nursing ( DGN ). The successful candidate will also provide interim administrative and executive support to the dean and associate dean, related to academic programs and/or other related school matters. The successful candidate will be an experienced program manager with performance improvement skills, strategic thinking, data analytical, and an in-depth understanding of service excellence in relation to department accreditation, academic and clinical education programming, special events, and managing Dean office operations. Under the direction of the Sr. Associate Dean of Nursing, this role will foster close collaboration with Chief of Staff of the Dean of Medicine, academic & clinical chairs, Morehouse Healthcare’s ( MHC ) Chief Operating Officer ( COO ), Medical Director, finance, and other essential stakeholders to help achieve MHC’s goals. The primary responsibilities include: Tracking and measuring key performance indicators. Assessing program success. Driving process improvements. Establishing a regular cadence of department reviews. Managing and enhancing the process to create the Board of Trustees’s Board reports and presentations. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Process Management: Develop and meticulously managing a strategic review process within the Nursing Dean’s office, ensuring a seamless alignment with institutional goals and objectives. Conduct rigorous benchmarking and comprehensive market research to discern institutional needs and formulate actionable recommendations and strategic plans aimed at the realization of organizational goals. Assist in devising business models to underpin the development of healthcare and academic programs, fostering sustainable growth. Scorecard Development: Develop and maintenance scorecards and dashboards, critically assessing the healthcare business’s profitability, patient coverage, and growth drivers. As well as drivers for student success. Collaborate with key stakeholders to design, populate, and maintain dashboards and student reports, serving as vital tools to inform Senior Leaders of the health and performance of both healthcare and academic programs. Meticulously document the scorecard development processes, enhancements, and data sources for future reference and audit purposes. Data Analytics: Perform a broad range of quantitative analysis to inform the design, implementation, and evaluation of nursing educational courses and programs Provide data analysis in education and healthcare to conduct in-depth data analysis to extract meaningful insights and academic and healthcare performance trends. Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and uncover strategic opportunities for growth of nursing and MSOM offerings. Help develop business models to support the development of academic programs. And faculty practice relationships Process Improvement: Collaborate with department deans and leaders to identify and implement process improvements in the departments academic and healthcare institutions. Centralized Data Management: Establish and manage a centralized repository for data, ensuring it is kept up-to-date and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders. Oversee data governance practices, guaranteeing the consistency and security of organizational data assets. Apply machine learning, econometrics/statistics, predictive modeling, simulation, and data visualization methods to support the development of decision making in the Division of Graduate Nursing Faculty Recruitment Support: Maintain a recruitment dashboard providing actionable insights and real-time updates on recruitment efforts. Assist Director of Clinical Strategy Transformation with clinical practice agreements, dashboards and monitoring Assist in creating a robust framework and streamlined processes for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings and candidate evaluation to interview scheduling involving multiple stakeholders and comprehensive follow-up procedures. Board of Trustee’s, Communities of Interests and Dean Advisory Board meetings: Review, enhance and document the process the Dean’s office uses to collect information to form the reports and presentations for both education and healthcare mission areas. Partner with Dean of Nursing to create the reports in advance of deadlines, working with them to ensure the report is telling a story that aligns with our strategic priorities. Create the template for the presentations and ensure the content is aligned with the priorities for the quarter. Ensure the report and presentations are submitted to MSOM stakeholders in alignment with the timelines. Establish ways to improve the process as gain experience with developing the reports and presentations. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university. 5 years of relevant experience and competencies in directing and managing programs. Proven experience in program management, data analytics, and scorecard development. Strong knowledge of the healthcare and academic industries. Proficiency in project management, scorecards/dashboard and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented and results-driven Proven ability to maintain a consistent high degree of accuracy and attention to detain in all tasks Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering inclusivity, collaboration, and effective operation within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Postgraduate degree, preferably an MBA , in a relevant field. 5 years plus program management experience in an academic or healthcare. PMP certification.
