Placing Specialist

We are hiring a Placing Specialist for our partner company!
As a Placing Specialist, you’ll be part of the Partner Network team—working at the core of the supplier network and reporting directly to the Partner Network Director. Your main responsibility will be managing custom manufacturing procurement tasks within a large network of production partners, similar to contract manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign production-ready work packages to the most suitable manufacturing partners based on price, quality, lead time, and production technology
• Select appropriate suppliers and manage related ERP processes
• Finalize agreements with suppliers and handle required documentation
• Evaluate suppliers based on pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and communication effectiveness
• Conduct risk assessments for awarded work packages
• Manage communication with suppliers for parts requiring re-production
• Ensure effective and professional communication with suppliers in line with individual and departmental goals
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on purchasing operations

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Knowledge of key manufacturing technologies (e.g., CNC, sheet metal, injection molding)
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the manufacturing industry
• Strong command of English (both written and spoken)
• Skilled in negotiation and supplier relationship management
• Result-oriented, structured, and able to manage tasks in a timely and organized manner
• Able to work in coordination with teams based in Turkey and Europe
