Job description

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our UniQue team.

What will you be bringing to the team?

  • You will review draft standards from relevant technical standardization committees and ensure alignment with project goals and overarching strategic objectives.
  • You will gather and consolidate feedback from all internal stakeholders involved in the technical deliverables and propose a unified technical position.
  • You will participate in international and regional standardization events; deliver high-level summaries and highlight convergence/divergence with the project's harmonized standards, including technical recommendations for the way forward.
  • You will draft and maintain technical specifications for applying harmonized standards in the development of core IT components (e.g., Registry, Web Application, third-party integrations).
  • You will produce and update Technical Design Documents (TDDs) for the IT components.
  • You will evaluate existing IT systems within the organization or partner ecosystem to identify reusable elements for new development.
  • You will draft architecture overview documentation for IT components and lead the validation process.
  • You will conduct regular code audits to verify adherence to architectural principles and specifications.
  • You will evaluate the performance of delivered code and provide recommendations for corrective actions where needed.
  • You will provide regular technical reports and updates to Project and Business Management teams.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in information systems architecture.
  • At least 10 years working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).
  • 10 years or more of experience using visual modeling and design tools (e.g., Sparx Enterprise Architect).
  • Minimum 10 years in secure web application development with expertise in secure development practices.
  • Minimum 10 years applying object-oriented design patterns (e.g., Adapter, Composite, Strategy).
  • At least 5 years working in international, multicultural, and large-scale IT projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development (J2SE and J2EE).
  • Proven experience developed over five or more years in designing architectures based on microservices.
  • At least 2 years of experience with emerging technology domains including blockchain architecture, Verifiable Credentials, and data lake design.
  • At least 1 year of experience contributing to standards development with both European and international standardization bodies (e.g., ISO, IEC, W3C, UNECE).
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman), with hands-on experience developing models
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture notations (e.g., ArchiMate, BPMN) and architecture tools such as ARIS Demonstrated experience with enterprise architecture methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and conciliation skills
  • Communications skills, both verbal (e.g.: presentations, seminars, etc.), and written (e.g.: reports, articles, etc.).
  • Knowledge of digital identity frameworks and trust services is considered an asset
  • Fluent in English (C2 level proficiency) is required.
