SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Software Product Manager, Claims to help shape the future of claims technology. This role will focus on building and enhancing digital tools that optimize claims processing, policyholder experience, and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in developing solutions that improve claims intake, automation, triage, and resolution. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and claims teams to ensure our products drive efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a strong analytical mindset, technical fluency, and a passion for solving complex challenges in insurance and claims management.

What you’d be doing:

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for claims-related digital tools, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
  • Develop solutions that enhance claims intake, automation, triage, and settlement processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work with engineering and data science teams to leverage AI, automation, and data-driven insights to streamline claims decision-making.
  • Partner with claims, policyholder and producer service teams to identify pain points and optimize workflows.
  • Own product discovery efforts, engaging with end users, analyzing data, and researching market trends to drive prioritization and innovation.
  • Define and track key success metrics, using data to measure impact, iterate on solutions, and continuously improve claims processes.
  • Balance short-term execution with long-term strategy, making trade-offs between speed, scalability, and impact.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of claims technology into SageSure’s broader product ecosystem.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 3-5 years in product management experience, preferably in insurance, fintech, or other operations-heavy industries.
  • Experience in claims technology, insurance operations, or workflow automation, with a strong ability to ramp up quickly in complex domains.
  • Technical fluency, with an understanding of APIs, data pipelines, automation, and AI-driven decision-making.
  • A strong analytical mindset, with experience using data to drive product decisions and measure impact.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Experience working with engineering teams and familiarity with agile software development practices.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage executives, engineers, designers and frontline claims professionals.

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • Experience working with claims management platforms, claims analytics or in the claim lifecycle.
  • A track record of delivering process improvements and automation in complex operational environments.
  • Experience using geospatial data, AI/ML, or automation to enhance claims processing.
  • A passion for building customer-centric products that improve policyholder experiences.
