About the Role

We are hiring a mission and impact driven Engineering Manager to found the Patient Outcomes team at Rula. You will guide a team of talented Product Engineers to deliver features that improve clinical outcomes for our patients and ensure they get the best care possible. You will work closely with your product, design, and data partners to define strategy and roadmaps for this team and understand the pain points of our customers. You’ll also work closely with your team and fellow engineering leaders to set technical direction and ensure technical quality for your team. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable work experience.

  • 8+ years of professional engineering experience.  At least 5 years of full time IC work and at least 3 years of hands on people management experience.

  • Experience that involves performance management, mentoring, and professional career growth.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience in building highly scalable, reliable, available, and performant systems.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with partners and stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of modern applications design architecture, good API design patterns, security, performance, and scaling.

  • Experience at early or growth-stage companies.
