Job description

Responsible for serving as a primary point of contact for clients; heavily involved in establishing, developing, and growing both new and existing business. This role can be remote.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically lead multiple complex client engagements simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables, client satisfaction, and engagement profitability 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, identifying opportunities for additional services and long-term partnerships 
  • Develop and manage engagement budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards 
  • Oversee maintenance of work papers and quality control processes across all engagements, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements 
  • Mentor and develop a team of managers and consultants, providing guidance on career progression, technical skills, and leadership development 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in healthcare financial services, actively participating in the sales cycle to win new business and expand existing client relationships 
  • Prepare and present complex proposals to potential clients, leveraging industry expertise to create compelling value propositions 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 5 years healthcare financial operations or consulting work experience 
  • At least 5 years project management experience, including complex, multi-faceted engagements At least 2 years accounting and finance work experience  
  • At least 5 years people management experience 
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, healthcare regulations, and industry best practices 
  • Post Acute Healthcare experience, Provider or non-Provider
  • Proven track record of successful client relationship management and business development 

Preferred 

  • Clinical or non-clinical experience
  • Certification in healthcare finance such as Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) 
  • Publication history or speaking engagements establishing thought leadership in healthcare finance

Expectations

  • Comfortable with remote work arrangements and virtual collaboration tools  
  • May require up to 40% travel for client meetings, conferences or training 
  • Physical demands include extended periods of sitting, computer use, and telephone communication
