Title:  Manager - Business Analysis

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Business Analysis Manager will closely with Customer Business Team or Onsite project team with minimal supervision. Responsible for documenting customer requirements and liaison with QA and the development team in implementation.

  • Actively participate in Discovery/inception sessions and document high level requirements.
  • Using product knowledge and analytical skills identify viable solution\workarounds for identified requirement gaps.
  • Actively participate in detail requirement elicitation sessions and demonstrate expertise in following modules,
    • FNOL
    • Automated Processing (Automated Line creation, Automated Reserves, Automated Assignment)
    • Desktop
    • Financials
    • Forms and Corr
    • Task templates
    • Party
    • Integrations etc.
  • Help QA and Development team with their functional queries.
  • Conduct test case review to ensure functional coverage.
  • Create workflow diagrams, wireframes, screen mockups.
  • Participate\lead triage meetings.
  • Conduct FIT/GAP analysis
  • Participate in RFP\RFI process.
  • Conduct KSS sessions.
  • Facilitate UAT execution phase and work with business stakeholders and project manager to obtain user acceptance test signoff
  • Represent reportees in annual performance review process.
  • Act as a mentor to reportees and provide timely constructive feedback.
  • Sprint Planning, Status report creation
  • Work allocation for junior team members
  • Be a People manager – Set Goals, Monitor Performance, Rewards, Conflict Management etc.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

  • Managed a team of 4+ resources.
  • Worked with stakeholders to assess current capabilities and identify high-level customer requirements.
  • Participated in detailed requirement sessions to elicit detailed product requirements and use cases.
  • Developed and maintained the business requirements.
  • Participated in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the technical team and ensures a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
  • Participated in quality management reviews as outlined in the Quality Management practice, in particular reviews of the designs, prototypes and other requirement work products.
  • Conducted Test Case review and provide feedback to QA team.
  • Created wireframe and detailed screen mockups.
  • Performs other related duties and activities as required.
  • Worked in different functional areas of Claims Application (FNOL, Desktop, Financial, Form and Corr)
  • Responsible for annual review process for 2-3 people.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

Industry knowledge

  • Knowledge of either Personal, Commercial, Specialty lines (Must)
  • INS21, INS22 and INS23 or equivalent insurance certification (Nice to Have)     

Technical skills

  • Experience in requirements gathering, identifying gaps, preparing functional specifications of both functional and non-functional requirements (Must)
  • Test planning and execution, and User Acceptance Testing definition and execution (Nice to Have)
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements (Nice to Have)
  • Experience/knowledge of Claims FNOL, Desktop, Financials and Forms & Correspondences (Must)
  • Experience in Claims integrations (including but not limited to) OFAC, Invoice (Corvel or others), Recoveries (COPART or others), Receipts (OneInc or others)

Communication skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) (Must)
  • Experience and ability provide client walkthroughs on developed requirements and demo of base product capabilities
  • Experience as BA/QA

IT experience

  • Experience / knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (Must) including Agile
  • Knowledge of database - SQL Server (Nice to Have)
  • Experience and understanding of XML (Must)
  • Experience with ACORD XML, Agency Portal, BI Tools (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with at least one project management tool like ADO, ALM, JIRA or others
