Department Overview
The SI PMO (Program Management Office) supports the System Integration Team to execute mission critical communications system integration contracts within the newly created International Markets region for SI. The PMO is a multi-site team which establishes and maintains a services methodology framework and is responsible for the continuous improvement of processes and to provide governance, support and training to the SI organization

This PMO Data Analyst position reports to the International SI PMO Business Manager.

The PMO Data Analyst will be part of the International SI PMO Business Function that drives the processes needed to deliver SI Projects in an efficient, consistent and predictable manner.

Job Description

This role is primarily remote working. With very occasional travel into one of our UK or overseas offices.

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations:
 

The PMO Data Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Manage the monthly Time-Phased Budget process for Projects, including support to Project Managers and Finance Controllers and maintenance of all templates and working files
  • Support the weekly Project Reporting process, including maintenance of the template 
  • Support the Resource Management process for all SI PM, SE and FE employees and non-employees (contractors), providing data to Resource Managers enabling scenario planning and visibility of potential resource or skill shortfalls
  • Be fully conversant with all processes and  tools used by PMs and identify any new initiatives which could be beneficial to the Project
  • Continual review and improvement of processes managed by the PMO Business Function.

Basic Requirements

Specific Knowledge / Skills

  • 2+ years of project management, engineering or data analysis experience.
  • Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety communications systems, Cellular infrastructure, Military communications, Civil construction or IT Networks preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience within a Program Management Office preferred but not essential
  • Recognized PM qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project) or Google Applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Experience with Tableau or Power-BI Reports preferred but not essential
  • Understanding of local public safety customers, such as police, fire, and emergency medical services is a plus.
  • Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Good influencing skills required as working with a global team across multiple sites.
