Accountant (Remote - CST Hours)

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our growing team! This remote role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven ability to manage financial operations for multiple clients. You'll be a key player in a fast-paced, evolving environment, so if you're eager to learn, proactive, and thrive on new challenges, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
  • Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all financial records.
  • Manage financial data within various software platforms.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Adapt to evolving client needs and priorities.
Requirements
  • Strong expertise in accounting principles and practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time.
  • Comfortable working with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and software.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and seeking guidance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
