About the role:

The AI Engineering team at Foodsmart is at the heart of transforming how millions of people access personalized nutrition and care. From building conversational experiences and predictive models to optimizing personalized outreach, the team integrates intelligent systems across the entire member journey. The Senior AI Engineer will play a critical role in designing and deploying solutions that drive real-world impact—like tailoring communications, improving engagement, and reducing missed appointments. We’re looking for someone who thrives in applying modern AI to practical challenges and who’s excited to shape the future of digital foodcare through scalable, thoughtful innovation.

You will

Build and deploy models that power real-time personalization, such as dynamic marketing segmentation and smart outreach throttling

Fine-tune foundational models (e.g., Hugging Face, OpenAI) to deliver use cases like chatbots, eligibility screening, and appointment scheduling

Develop predictive systems (e.g., no-show risk models) to enhance operational efficiency and engagement

Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to integrate AI into backend APIs and member-facing applications

Monitor and iterate on model performance, data integrity, and user impact in production environments

You are:
