We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Prenatal Sales to lead, scale and continue to develop our sales team for our flagship product, Unity Complete™. This position will have significant responsibility and impact within the organization and will be considered part of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT). The VP of Prenatal Sales will have full P&L/budget responsibility and will oversee a large team of 150+ reps, managers, and area directors, generating $200M+ in annual revenue, revenue that is continuing to grow exponentially YoY. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive adoption of Unity Complete™ and related prenatal testing solutions
  • Responsible for building and scaling the sales team structure, including; hiring and developing sales representatives, managers, and directors. 
  • Lead, mentor, and support Sales Directors and their regional teams to drive performance and growth.
  • Drive revenue growth and consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Design and implement territory expansion plans to maximize market coverage and sales efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and seamless execution of go-to-market strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, major healthcare systems, and strategic accounts
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to Executive Leadership Team on market trends, competitive landscape, and sales performance
  • Continuously refine sales processes, tools, and methodologies to increase effectiveness and scalability
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales organization
  • Represent BillionToOne at industry conferences, trade shows, and other external events
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the laboratory/diagnostics industry
  • Experience building and managing a team of 100 or more sales representatives through a multi-layer team structure
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and building high-performing teams
  • Experience scaling sales organizations in high-growth environments
  • Experience in specialty molecular diagnostics is a must-have; women's health and/or prenatal market is preferred
  • Deep understanding of healthcare provider sales cycles and decision-making processes
  • Demonstrated success in territory expansion and sales infrastructure development
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership teams and boards
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Additional Details:
  • Location: Flexible, with preference for Central or Western US
  • Travel Requirements: Extensive (approximately 50%) including field work, office visits, executive leadership meetings, headquarters visits, and quarterly manager meetings
