Job description

Since 2018, Wisp has been on a mission to put healthcare back in patients’ hands. We connect patients with hassle-free sexual + reproductive care online, with discreet and convenient treatment that saves them time, money, and stress. Our goal is to empower everyone to make the decisions about their health that are right for them. We’ve scaled quickly, serving patients across the nation and becoming part of the WELL Health family—and now we want you.

We are a growing, fully-remote team in the United States looking for collaborators who are committed to our mission, passionate about results, eager to build something amazing, and excited to have high levels of ownership, accountability, and personal growth.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a strong UX designer with Product Management experience to join our product team in creating intuitive and accessible healthcare experiences that meet our business needs. In this hybrid role, you will lead the UX process, provide UX support for other product managers, and take ownership of select initiatives as both the product manager and UX designer. You will be responsible for conducting user research, creating interaction designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless patient experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong design thinking with business knowledge and a data-driven approach to solve complex healthcare challenges.

What You'll Do
  • Have Ownership: Own the UX process for Wisp including creating and maintaining design documentation, design systems, user flows, and interaction patterns in Figma

  • Continuously learn: Drive organizational understanding of customer pain points and opportunities through data and discovery with internal and external customers.

  • Research: Lead the end-to-end UX process from discovery to delivery, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing

  • Collaborate: Work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define problems, propose solutions, validate design decisions and negotiate scope.

  • Prioritize: Sequence and drive priority work based on feasibility, impact analysis and strategic goals, driving alignment with cross-functional teams.

  • Deliver: Coordinate key initiatives across various functions at wisp, navigating roadblocks, Leading UX reviews, ensure high-quality implementation of designs and keeping the team informed on progress.

This Role Could Be A Good Fit For You If...
  • You have 6+ years of UX and Product Management experience combined in fast-paced, agile environments (bonus for telehealth, e-comm, or regulated industries)

  • You are comfortable working independently and have experience owning projects entirely or in collaboration with another Product Manager.

  • You have proven skills balancing design and product thinking: prioritize features based on business value, deliver iteratively, avoid over-polishing, and have a bias toward iterative delivery over perfectionism

  • You have strong instincts for using data to guide decisions and are comfortable working with limited or ambiguous datasets

  • You are skilled in using Figma and familiar with prototyping and testing tools

  • You are skilled at communicating design decisions and presenting work to diverse stakeholders and are passionate about designing accessible, inclusive, and user-friendly digital experiences

  • You bring a strategic mindset and the ability to develop strong, user-centered perspectives that thoughtfully balance business goals, data insights, and high-quality user experiences.

Visa sponsorship or transfer is not available for this position at present. Must be authorized to work in the country this requisition states.

Wisp is an equal-opportunity employer. We are proud to foster a workplace free from discrimination. We strongly believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and background will lead to a better environment for our employees and a better product for our users and patients.

If you are committed to collaborative problem solving, creating high-quality and user-centric products, and want to make waves in sexual and reproductive healthcare, join us!
