DaVita is looking for a Practice Administrator to support our post transplant patients. We are looking for someone with proven excellence in an administrative role, and who is an articulate communicator verbally and electronically. DaVita is looking for an individual who will go above and beyond to extend the highest level of customer service possible. As a DaVita Practice Administrator you will need to be highly organized and compassionate. You will also need to be proactive and detail oriented. DaVita functions as a very fast-pasted work environment, so your ability to work at a high level of proficiency with little supervision is essential. Responsibilities:
Register patients for post transplant-related services
Verify demographics and collect required documentation
Process incoming referrals and ensure all documentation is complete.
Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorizations for transplant services
Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) vendor to ensure accurate claim submissions and timely reimbursements
Oversee scheduling of clinical providers and support staff to maintain adequate coverage
Coordinate appointments and follow-ups
Act as a liaison between the clinical transplant team, business owners, and transplant program departments
Facilitate communication and alignment on patient care logistics, workflows, and resource needs
Triage issues related to the lab business(es), EHR, and RCM vendor
Track and report business and operational metrics, including clinic volumes, referral trends, and claims performance
Support with process optimization, improving workflows, and driving innovation as the service line grows
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role; transplant or specialty care experience is a plus
Strong understanding of insurance processes, prior authorizations, and claims workflows
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality
Comfortable interacting with clinical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders

Salary/ Wage Range
$71,800.00 - $83,000.00 / yearIf a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

• New York Exempt:
• New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year
• Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year
• Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year

New York Non-exempt:
• New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour
• Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour
• Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour


Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year

Washington Non-exempt:
• Bellingham: $17.66/hour
• Burien: $21.16/hour
• Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour
• Renton: $20.90/hour
• Seattle: $20.76/hour
• Tukwila: $21.10/hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
