As Director, GSS Project Controls, you will support all GSS business lines, and all GSS Project Controls personnel and Financial Analysts will have a dotted in line reporting responsibility to you, to ensure business continuity. You will also serve as the GSS representative to corporate Project Management / Project Controls team / AOMS Outage Transformation projects.
You will report to the Executive Vice President of GSS and be located. This is a remote position that can be performed from anywhere within the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain strategic customer relationships with client's corporate and supply chain management teams.
Maintain a pulse on customer needs and how WEC can support them, keeping in mind all services provided by WEC.
Identify business development activities that support long-range business line planning and resource management, and increase sales revenue growth.
Develop the customer as a strategic partner with the ability to identify opportunities for value and continuous improvement.
Ensure that the implementation and enforcement of the WEC Safety Program is consistent with the product line.
Ensure that WEC processes are followed and holds any reports accountable for using these processes to manage the implementation of the contract and the completion of work.
Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and provides leadership for implementation of the WEC safety program throughout their product line.
Provide sites with all Scorecard information that results in maximizing WEC's potential incentive.
Provide GSS Management Staff with a weekly Financial Overview Report, for each Project Based release (including Fixed Price and Target Projects).
Collaborate with the Directors and Sites to maintain the yearly and 3 / 5-year plans.
Provide an up-to-date report including the status of any applicable Accounts Receivables to be shared with WEC Management.
Provide GSS Management with a log of all invoiced Scorecard values and timing.
Provide GSS Management with a weekly log of all non-billable employee charges.
Support management staff to provide any needed financial information for estimates and/or proposals.
Support processes for releases and work orders into internal contract management system, and transfer data for timekeeping.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience
Bachelor Degree in engineering, business or equivalent
Significant Financial and Project Controls experience
Ability to travel 20%
