Job Overview
starpower is looking for a dynamic leader and passionate soccer enthusiast to lead the development and execution of 2026 FIFA World Cup partnerships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in the soccer and brand partnerships space (such as with FIFA or MLS) and a proven ability to concept and manage large-scale brand x sports activations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead brand strategy, talent integration, and partnership development efforts for clients seeking to activate around global soccer, leagues, teams and tournaments
- Develop and pitch big ideas that tie brands to soccer in culturally relevant ways, from sponsorship platforms to social campaigns to cobranded partnerships.
- Translate cultural insights and fan behavior into compelling strategies that drive real business outcomes for clients.
- Monitor and share trends, innovations, and brand best practices across the global soccer and sports marketing ecosystem.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, providing expert-level guidance on soccer-specific marketing strategy and execution.
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of soccer-related campaigns and partnerships, collaborating across agency teams and ensuring seamless delivery and project alignment across all stakeholders.

What You Should Have
- 8-10+ years of experience in soccer, brand partnerships, sports marketing and direct experience working on a previous FIFA World Cup partnership or activation (mandatory).
- Background at a major soccer organization or working on behalf of a brand or relevant rights holder activating sports sponsorships
- A strong network within the soccer ecosystem including teams, players, and media partners.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing partnerships that connect brands with soccer in meaningful ways.
- Deep understanding of soccer culture, global fan behavior, and international event dynamics.
- Experience managing high-level client relationships and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams through detailed planning and execution.
Pay Range: $140,000.00-$175,000.00
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
