Morgan Stanley’s focus on leveraging the full capabilities of the Firm’s franchise has led to the establishment of several cross divisional service relationships. The Institutional Client Coverage (ICC) business comprised of Equity/Fixed income sales teams within Wealth Management to deliver best in class coverage to a definable “middle market” segment within the institutional client base. ECC/FISG businesses have coverage models that are separate and distinct from others within Wealth Management.

Job Overview

"Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Client Coverage (ICC) Business Management team works in partnership with ECC/FISG Salespeople, Sales/Product Managers across ISG, Wealth Management. Specific Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Production of Daily/Monthly/Quarterly Reporting with a focus on identifying key client opportunities and furthering existing partnerships to drive revenue growth.
  • Tracking of various pipelines, group metrics and cross-divisional revenue & asset databases.
  • Production of Client Briefing materials for divisional account reviews and senior management meetings
  • Assist management team in the execution of ICC client strategy as it relates to Institutional Corporate Access, Research Access, and other Firm resources.
  • Identify and facilitate cross-selling business opportunities between Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and the Institutional divisions at Morgan Stanley

Business Critical Need: Critical as business development and driving accretive growth - is one of ICC's Strategic Priorities.

Training: The majority of the training will be on-the -job as an ICC Business Analyst will work directly with ICC Business Management and Sales Teams.Technical training in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg will be provided as appropriate.

Exposure: An ICC Business Analyst position offers a unique opportunity to work with sales management, salespeople and sales traders.You will coordinate with IED, FID, and WM on various initiatives to optimize client revenue/resourcing, coverage, product solutions to drive revenue for the Firm.

Project Management Opportunities: The ICC Analyst will be an integral part of the Business Management Team. The Analyst will be responsible for various areas of reporting with a focus on synthesizing information via rigorous analysis to provide value-added information to the Management and ECC/FISG Sales Teams. The position also affords be opportunity to be involved in strategic initiatives outside day to day responsibilities.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $57,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
