WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field, and 5 years of related work experience. Employer will accept a 3-year or 4-year bachelor's degree.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Applying U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; Securities and Exchange Commission financial reporting issues; International Financial Reporting Standards; Mergers and acquisitions; and Transaction services.
Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required up to 20%.
Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location, depending on business need.

Apply U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and in-depth technical accounting knowledge to buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence assistance to Fortune 1000 and middle market companies and private equity investors. Provide financial and business due diligence assistance to corporate and private equity clients. Assist with the oversight of buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements. Analyze target company financial results (and underlying accounting data) to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, working capital considerations, potential liabilities, and risks. Provide tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key accounting issues such as normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, consideration of assumptions underlying management's forecasted performance for the business, and purchase price adjustment components, including net working capital and indebtedness considerations. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks to support business development.
