What you’ll do:
Project Planning and Strategy
Inform the tactical plan for the project scope, including objectives and deliverables in alignment with organizational business goals, client requirements, and health equity aims.
Develop comprehensive project plans that include timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and risk management strategies for items at-risk of or experiencing challenges.
Collaborate with the project team (i.e., client, partners, colleagues, etc.) and key stakeholders to align project goals with business strategies and identify success criteria.
Where relevant, apply domain knowledge to enhance project planning by contributing to content development and research insights that strengthen project execution, while ensuring alignment with subject matter experts.
Oversee the implementation and delivery of projects, programs, and initiatives, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget and staffing resources.
Build, implement, and monitor project work plans, trackers, budgets, and other project management tools and resources to support day-to-day project operations (e.g., workflows, communication, etc.).
Monitor project progress and adjust plans to stay on schedule and within budget.
Proactively track and manage risks and issue change management, as well as knowledge management, and implement mitigation plans as needed.
Support content development and research efforts that enhance project implementation and inform decision-making, while ensuring that technical leadership remains with designated subject matter experts.
Lead project cross-functional teams, such as consultants or subject matter experts (SMEs), promoting a collaborative, goal-oriented environment.
Provide mentorship and support to project managers and team members, as needed and required by senior leadership
Act as a point of escalation, facilitating issue resolution and ensuring clear communication among team members and stakeholders, bringing immediate concerns to the appropriate Program Director(s).
Effectively communicate program status, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive and senior leadership, ensuring alignment, transparency, and informed decision-making at the highest levels.
Communicate project updates and status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate regular project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and post-project reviews.
Gather feedback from stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement in project delivery.
Manage project budgets, monitoring expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals.
Optimize resource allocation across multiple projects, balancing workloads and identifying resource needs.
Track and report on financial performance, flagging any deviations from the budget and implementing corrective actions.

The compensation package for this position includes a salary range of $90,000 - $94,000 commensurate with experience plus an annual bonus awarded based on individual and team performance. Qualifications:
6+ years of program or project management experience.
4+ years of experience working with stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
Bachelor’s Degree or four years of relevant work history post-high school.
Strong interest and documented commitment to advancing health equity.
Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Public Policy, or Business Administration.
Experience working in healthcare, public health, and/or community health.
Experience working with healthcare systems, health plans, community nonprofits, and/or philanthropies is a plus.
Experience working in or demonstrating a deep understanding of Medicaid policy and/or managed care plans is a plus.
Experience working with stakeholders in a nimble, fast-paced, and hybrid (in-person and virtual) work environment.
Experience providing strategic consulting services that deliver measurable results.
Experience using project management software (e.g., ClickUp, Rocketlane, Monday, Asana, etc.)
PMP and/or CSM certification.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Suite software.
Excellent experience with databases and CRM software.
Proficiency using platforms like Zoom, Slack, MS Teams, and Webex
Knowledge and experience working with industry-leading project management methods, tools, and resources.
Adept at managing department, project, and staff budgets, resources, and capacity; interpreting and using financial reports (including P&L reports); and can understand and communicate core financial management concepts to team members.
Ability to work regularly and meet on Pacific Time
