Nurse Practitioners & Physicians Assistants
We are looking for energetic and experienced providers to join our team to efficiently provide VA C&P exams for the Veterans Administration.
What is a C&P Exam?
A C&P exam is a medical examination scheduled by the VA as part of the disability rating process. The primary purpose of the C&P exam is to determine whether a veterans disability is service-related, and if so, how severe it is.
Examples of service-related disabilities include PTSD and depression, hearing loss, musculoskeletal injuries, and any other disability acquired during your military service.
C&P exams are generally ordered by a Rating Veteran Service Representative a qualified clinician, who reviews veterans disability claims to determine whether to award or deny a benefit. RVSRs usually order C&P exams if they find something to be missing from a veterans claim. TRAINING IS PROVIDED!
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in an urgent, walk-in, or primary care setting. PRN/freelance opportunities are available.
What can you expect as a team member?
A fast-paced work environment, caring for 1-2 patients an hour, on average
Flexible hours to meet both your needs and out patent needs
Excellent Compensation of $65/hour to $75/hour depending on education, training and experience.
Whats required?
1 year of related experience is preferred
State License as an APRN or Physician Assistant
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the AANP or ANCC or Certification as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA
DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon hire
DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
BLS certification
