Job Description

We are currently looking for a MarTech Product Strategy Manager to join our expanding team! As the MarTech Product Strategy Manager, you will develop and execute Brightspeed’s marketing technology product strategy. This role will oversee the creation and management of a strategic product roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the innovation of our MarTech solutions. Your role will encompass managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to execution, and ensuring our solutions meet business objectives and market demands. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing technology, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in product management and strategy.

As MarTech Product Strategy Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Planning: Developing and executing a comprehensive MarTech product strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing and business goals, identify opportunities for technology adoption and innovation to enhance marketing effectiveness and customer engagement
  • Product Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of MarTech products, from ideation and development to launch and optimization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and data analytics, to ensure successful product delivery and integration
  • Product Business Case Ownership: Developing, writing, and owning comprehensive business cases for MarTech products, including defining the strategic value, outlining key objectives, and detailing the financial impact, ensuring that each business case supports the product vision and aligns with organizational goals, and present these cases to stakeholders to secure buy-in and resources
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and technologies, using insights to inform product development and positioning strategies
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing and product teams, sales, and executive leadership, to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into product development, facilitating communication and alignment across departments
  • Performance Metrics: Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of MarTech products, analyze data to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve product performance
  • Vendor Management: Evaluating and managing relationships with external MarTech vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring that vendors meet performance and compliance standards
  • Budget Management: Developing and managing budgets for MarTech products and initiatives, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and financial constraints
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in MarTech, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge
  • Possess a Strategic Vision: You have a knack for envisioning and executing forward-thinking product strategies that align with business objectives and anticipate market shifts
  • Excel in Cross-Functional Collaboration: You thrive in working closely with marketing, technology, and data teams, and can translate complex requirements into actionable plans
  • Are Data-Driven: You use data and market insights to guide product development, continuously refine strategies, and optimize performance.
  • Demonstrate Strong Leadership: You are adept at managing the product lifecycle, leading projects with precision, and driving innovation in a dynamic environment
  • Communicate Effectively: You have exceptional communication skills, enabling you to present your vision clearly to senior executives and engage stakeholders at all levels

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, marketing technology, or a related field, preferably within the telecommunications industry. Proven track record of successfully managing MarTech products and projects
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology ecosystems and tools (e.g., CRM, CDP, marketing automation, analytics platforms)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive collaboration
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools
     

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Experience within the telecommunications sector or a similar technology-driven industry
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and modern project management tools
  • Proven experience in end-to-end product lifecycle management, from strategy development to implementation and optimization
