POSITION SUMMARY:
The public sector enabling capabilities organization (ECO) consists of six functions that support Huron at the enterprise level: sales operations, sales enablement, government and policy relations, contracts management, engagement management and engagement assurance. As part of ECO, engagement management partners with engagement delivery teams to execute public sector contracts in compliance with government regulations, policies, and contractual requirements.
The Public Sector PMO Associate is expected to independently manage a portfolio of up to 10 low complexity public sector engagements (including federal, state, local, and tribal) to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget. The role will be mainly advisory (low level of effort per project) in nature, with the ability to be fully dedicated to a project depending on business unit needs. and guides delivery teams to ensure Huron is compliant with federal regulations, policies, and contractual requirements. The position reports to the Public Sector PMO lead, but works closely with engagement leaders, corporate functions, and other public sector ECO team members.

Qualifications

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Analyze significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure
•    Provide contractual guidance to business team members for appropriate Statement of Work
•    Manage prime contractor, subcontractor, and teaming partner relationships and ensure internal infrastructure is set up to accommodate the contract relationship
•    Manage relationship with client’s Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Contracting Officer (CO) and/or Project Manager, including leadership of recurring status meeting
•    Deliver on all contract requirements including technical, cost, schedule, and quality performance
•    Develop, maintain, and manage to project workplan and project management plan 
•    Create status reports as required by contract or internal needs
•    Ensure adherence to Huron standard documentation templates, confidential information management, and compliance management practices
•    Assist with onboarding of new project staff to government contracting and project processes/tools
•    Project setup and maintenance in ERP system
•    May versee PMO Analyst in completing appropriate project tasks including background check administration, expense reviews, and records management, in a timely and accurate manner
•    Coordinate with Engagement Assurance team to monitor project health and escalate risks or issues
•    Provide data for contract vehicle reporting or audit requirements
•    Participate in internal strategic initiatives and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. This individual must be able to balance multiple priorities and any given time and be able to communicate with various levels of internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate would have interest or experience with government contracting and/or project management. 
Technical Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs) and Background  
•    Bachelor’s degree required

US work authorization required
•    2+ years project or contract management experience. 
•    Understanding of government contracting procedures and contract types
•    PMP Certification preferred
•    Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Teams) and Smartsheet
•    Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
•    Ability to complete daily tasks with minimal supervision
•    Ability to balance multiple projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines
•    Ability to work with teams and individuals of varying working styles in a virtual environment
•    Ability to obtain a security clearance if required by the contract
•    Ability to read and analyze complex federal documents (RFPs, RFIs, federal schedules)
•    Ability to coach and mentor others


 

The estimated base salary range for this job is $82,000-$105,000 .  The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy.  Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $91,840-$123,900. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
