What You Will Get To Do

The Salesforce QA Tester role is responsible for assuring the delivered features and applications will work as required. Software Testers are quality assurance professionals who make sure software is doing what it is designed to do consistently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies & processes
  • Provide Salesforce platform requirements and configuration supporting systems migration
  • Problem-solving skills and critical thinking are essential to effectively conduct the required tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing sessions.
  • Verify system usability through comprehensive interface, workflow, and use-case test execution.
  • Identify and track defects when test failures occur, narrowing the root cause to enable efficient investigation.
  • Work with technical teams and business partners to define/refine business rules and processes.
  • Drives collaboration between QA and business/development teams to maximize timely delivery of solutions
  • Assist in developing the Performance Testing Strategy and Performance Testing Plans
  • Develop efficient and accurate Automated Performance test scripts
  • Execute Functional/Performance Tests using industry standard tools such as Selenium, QTP, Loadrunner or similar tools Analyze results and provide recommendations for improvements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of related experience in manual & automated testing
  • Functional and performance testing of low code platforms such as Salesforce.com
  • Hands on experience with Selenium, LoadRunner, QTP and similar tools
  • A high degree of skill in troubleshooting, characterizing, and describing software defects
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly
  • The ability to manage and prioritize own workload effectively
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • US citizenship or permanent residency required
  • Authorized to work for any U.S. employer

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of SCRUM approach/methodologies highly desired
  • Development background

Southpoint Consulting relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, as well as organizational and contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 (Annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position, and is just one component of Southpoint's total compensation package for employees.
