WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experienced leaders to guide our software engineers and teams as we transition our SaaS applications from a monolith to a highly scalable, loosely coupled application ecosystem. As a team lead, you will be responsible for the direct management and professional growth of a group of software engineers, contributing to our codebase, and will also be a leader in the department for technical and process improvements.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

You will bring both technical and staff leadership skills and be able to impact the department and individuals in a meaningful and positive way. You will help guide and grow our development teams and coach your direct reports using data driven and an empathetic approach. You will work with multiple other people and departments to drive department initiatives and successfully complete projects. You should have a track record of guiding the professional growth of direct reports and experience with the entire software development life cycle.

Our team leaders typically possess 7 or more years of experience as a software engineer or similar role and excel at leading diverse groups of people in an Agile environment. In addition to strong staff leadership skills, our team leads have solid technical aptitudes and the ability to guide people through the technical designs, challenges, and risks of a project. The ability to work closely with all roles in the company like software engineers, quality assurance engineers, product owners, IT engineers, and client service is a must. You should expect to leverage your experience and skills to coach your direct reports and others in both the department and organization. We value ownership and independence in our development organization and will look to you to help grow and support those qualities in others.

ABOUT NET HEALTH ENGINEERING

Our current stack is primarily .NET based, C# backend, SQL, and a mix of ASP.NET MVC/Web Forms/Knockout/Vue comprise the front end. We are actively migrating our monolith and legacy services to be Azure Cloud hosted solutions, in some cases lifting and shifting, in others refactoring for cloud native using containers, functions, or other azure components. As part of this position, we will be looking to you for ideas and leadership in guiding the department and individuals in the right direction.

NET HEALTH ENGINEERING HIGHLIGHTS
